The Trever Murphy Memorial Foundation was formed in honor of Firefighter/Paramedic Trever Murphy, who was lost in the line of duty in 2019. The Foundation seeks to honor his life and legacy by advancing the normalization of mental healthcare in the first responder community. Through demonstration, education, and advocation, we hope to demolish the current stigma first responders experience when faced with mental health struggles. It is our goal to establish that accessing mental healthcare is not only desirable, but expected in order to affect the highest level of stability and happiness in each and every person who serves their community as a first responder.
